Abstract
|

|
Most urologists are familiar with the female patients who complain bitterly of urinary irritable symptoms, such as dysuria, frequency, urgency, pressure sensation etc. Many will not be found to have an actual infection or any other definite abnormality if a radiologic and endoscopic evaluation is carried out.
This condition has been called by a variety of names, including the urethral syndrome, urethrotrigonitis, irritative urethritis, and others.
The agents or agent responsible for urethral syndrome remain(s) poorly understood. Female patients with "the urethral syndrome" present a difficult problems in diagnosis and treatment.
Various therapeutic regimens have been proposed, but the results have not been uniformly satisfactory.
To better understand the cause and more effectively treat women afflicted with the urethral syndrome, this article focused on the causes and practices of diagnosis and treatment of this syndrome.
